Instagram – Workflow Automation
New Instagram Workflow Setup

Users can now create Instagram workflows to automate replies for DMs, story replies, and comments.
Prerequisites:
Token Regeneration: Users must reset their Instagram token to grant new permissions. This can be done under Integrations > Facebook > Regenerate Instagram Token. The old token will not work.
How Instagram Workflows Function:
Workflow Setup with Toggles:
Users can configure workflows that work based on toggle-based conditions, similar to WhatsApp workflows.
Workflows handle Incoming DMs, Story Replies, and Comment Replies dynamically.
Keyword-Based Automation:
If a user’s message matches an active workflow’s conditions, the workflow is triggered—provided they are not already engaged in another active workflow.
A keyword can only belong to one workflow. If two workflows have overlapping keywords, the latest toggle activation determines keyword allocation.
If a workflow loses all its assigned keywords, it will automatically be turned off.
Post & Story-Specific Replies:
Responses to specific stories or posts trigger workflows based on post/story ID before analyzing the actual message/comment content.
If no active workflow matches the user’s reply, a fallback default workflow can be triggered.
Reply Options in Workflows:
Instagram Comments Action: Only available when setting up workflows for comments. Otherwise, Instagram DM must be selected.
DM Action Types: Users can send text, images, videos, audio, products, carousels, and interactive button messages.
Button Messages:
Support up to 3 options per message.
Button types: Quick Reply or URL (Only Quick Replies return data).
Additional Instagram Enhancements
Default Responses for Instagram Interactions
Users can now set up default workflows for DMs, comments, and story replies.
If no keyword matches an active workflow, the default workflow will be triggered.
Default workflows still prioritize keyword-specific triggers when applicable.
Instagram Workflow Integrations
Instagram-Only Actions: Directly perform actions within Instagram, such as AI responses (ChatGPT), updating attributes, sending emails, and assigning agents.
WhatsApp Transition: Seamlessly switch Instagram conversations to WhatsApp by collecting phone numbers and sending an initial template message.
WhatsApp-to-Instagram Transition: Requires Instagram User ID (not the handle) to move users back to Instagram. A new attribute condition is required to facilitate this switch.
Sequence Emailing Enhancements
Why it’s important: Improve deliverability, tracking, and ease of managing email sequences.

Feature highlights:
Email Warmup with AWS: Manage sender ID warmup settings from the sender management page.
Conditions Node in Sequences: Added a conditions node with tracking options for delivered, opened, and clicked emails.
UI/UX Improvements: Sequence sidebar and flow updated from a linear vertical structure to a vertical tree structure.
Drafts in Sequences: Create, edit, and duplicate drafts for better workflow control.
Pause, Resume, Stop Actions: Added control options to the sequences table for improved campaign management.
